This is the kind of book I like to describe as a “plane read” or a “beach read” – one that you will probably devour in one sitting. Someone knows what really happened that day. Two young men ski into a blizzard… but only one returns.įour people connected to the missing man find themselves in that same resort. Actually I discovered this most excellent summer read a little but unconventionally – I am a member of a number of Facebook groups pertaining to our region in Southwest France and happened upon this book in a post there recently because the author lives in Southwest France too! When I started reading a little bit more about the book (and her upcoming The Chateau), I knew it would make the PERFECT summer read! Well then, with a description like that, I couldn’t NOT dive into this book.
